DDP Creation Service

Have you been asked to supply a DDP for CD manufacture?

Unsure what that is or means?

A DDP is a digital version of a CD - A DDP (Disc Description Protocol) CD master is a standardized file set that contains all the information needed to create a CD, ensuring accurate reproduction during replication. It's a bit-perfect representation of the disc, including audio, data, and metadata, and is widely used by mastering studios and CD duplication plants.

All we need to make you a DDP is a set of WAV files and all the details of the meta-data you would like added to your DDP master.

What sort of things can I add to a DDP?

CD TEXT - The overall Performer, Composers, Arrangers and Songwriter names, The Album title, The Song names and Individual Performers, Composers, Arrangers and Songwriter details per track

MCN/EAN/UPC Number - This is your barcode number (if you have obtained one and want to use it)

ISRC CODES - International Standard Recording Codes. These are codes that identify your songs and ensure royalties are easily distributed to you (if for example your song is played on a radio show)

CORRECT RUNNING ORDER - ensuring the tracks run in the expected order as defined by you

GAPS - These can be set in place in a DDP so there is no ambiguity or confusion on your final CDs that get made

If you would like a DDP made for you there is a flat fee of £50 for this service, If you are having your audio mastered with us for CD then a DDP will be supplied free of charge as part of that service as well as a separate set of 16BIT/44.1kHz wav files.
